Next week is the 3rd meeting of the Perth ALT.NET group. For this meeting we thought we'd host an event where anyone can come along and participate. Specifically, we are having a Coding Dojo.
A Coding Dojo is a place where software developers can get together to practice a specific technique or technology in order to share and improve their skills. This one is focussing on Test Driven Design.
On the night you will get 10 minutes or so of explanation from a presenter and then you'll get the opportunity to sit at the keyboard with your favourite technology and implement some stuff in a test-first way under the guidance of the facilitator.
We have sessions on MOSS, WinForms, ASP.NET and Silverlight lined up so there should be something for nearly everyone.
When: Wednesday 8th April, 5:30pm until late (we'll kick off around 6ish)
Where: 43 below restaurant and bar - 43 barrack street, perth
What: Perth ALT.NET April - Test Driven Dojo
If you plan on attending we'd really appreciate you registering here. To keep track of what's happening in the Perth ALT.NET group you might want to check out http://perth.ozalt.net
Also don't forget the Perth .NET Community of Practice meeting is tomorrow (Thursday) night. Hope to see you next week.
** Doesn't assume your time is worthless as you'l be hanging out in a pub.
