A new day has dawned

Today I join the ranks of the elite. The few, the proud...The ranks of people who have successfully installed Visual Studio codename 'Orcas'. It took a few go's, a couple of restarts, some seemingly arbitrary uninstalls. But hey, it's beta right? I've seen commercially 'ready' applications behave worse.

This is going to be interesting because I have been working primarily in Visual Studio 2003 and so I'm going to get 2005s goodies along with everything else. Hopefully the first Orcas project I'll be working on will be the Visual Studio XML Editor project which is in the planning stages at the moment.

I would like to get into doing some Silverlight work as well. If I discover anything cool I'll blog about it. Now I have to go and read Scott Guthrie's blog from the beginning again.
